Amid allegations of doping, Yannick Sinner’s victory at the US Open did not exactly leave the tennis community satisfied.
Thus, Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios reacted in a satirical manner to a post by journalist Piers Morgan, who once again emphasised that Sinner, as he believes, had failed two doping samples. ‘For the first time in history! We are witnessing greatness,’ his tweet read.
Over the past two days, Kyrgios’ attacks have hurt not only Sinner, but also his girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya. So, on Saturday, the Australian commented on a photo of himself and Kalinskaya at a 2020 NBA game with the remark ‘second serve.’
It is not known what was meant by it, but it is believed to have been a taunt to the Italian. The latter Kyrgios demands to be suspended after two positive doping tests.
Recall that the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) conducted an investigation, according to which Sinner escaped punishment for doping, as the commission found that the banned substance got into the body of the Italian unintentionally.
