Reigning World No. 1 Sabalenka began dating Brazilian businessman Frangulis this year. The Brazilian has been a first-hand witness to some of the Belarusian’s most significant achievements in 2024, such as the finals of the prestigious Cincinnati Open and US Open, where Sabalenka registered title triumphs.
Meanwhile, Sabalenka has become a brand ambassador for Oakberry, the superfood company specializing in acai products, which was co-founded by Frangulis in 2016. The three-time Major winner also contributed to the brand by creating her signature acai bowl.
Earlier this year, Aryna Sabalenka laid bare how Frangulis had supported her through her tough phases in 2024.

Sabalenka’s ex-boyfriend, Belarusian former ice hockey player Konstantin Koltsov, tragically passed away in Miami in the buildup to the 2024 Miami Open. According to The Miami-Dade Police Department, it was an apparent case of suicide.
This unfortunate development had an impact on Sabalenka’s on-court displays, and she registered early exits at both the Miami Open and the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. However, she bounced back at the Madrid Open, the tournament that marked her and Frangulis’ appearing together for the first time in Public.
In an exclusive interview with People magazine in September this year, Sabalenka opened up about how Frangulis kept her cheerful during her trying 2024 experiences.
“There was a really tough period where I was really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff. But I make sure I kind of forget about tennis and focus on the good things and enjoy my life. Even when things are going wrong in my career. So yeah, he was my biggest support and yeah, really happy to have him by my side,” Sabalenka said.
Sabalenka finished the 2024 season as the year-end World No. 1 for the first time in her career. The Belarusian had briefly ascended to the No. 1 spot in 2023 but was ultimately leapfrogged by Iga Swiatek at the end of the year.
