The curtain may have fallen on the US Open, but the stories, memories, and excitement it left behind are far from fading—especially for both players and fans. While everyone looks ahead to the next big tournaments, the final Grand Slam of the year still holds a special place in their hearts. And for two rising stars, Anna Kalinskaya and Katie Boulter, the buzz of the US Open is still very much alive.
Boulter and Kalinskaya teamed up for the US Open doubles and displayed some sensational tennis on the courts. They outshined Wang Xinyu and Zheng Saisai in the first round of the tournament to mark a victorious beginning for their partnership. While they failed to achieve much and witnessed a defeat in the second round of the tournament, they seem to have developed a close bond with each other, as can be evidenced from Boulter’s comment on the Russian star’s social media post.
Taking to Instagram, Jannik Sinner’s girlfriend shared a couple of pictures on Wednesday from her US Open campaign. This also included a photograph of her partnership with Katie Boulter as the two can be seen celebrating together. Captioning the post, Kalinskaya wrote, “NYC thank you for the experience next time I come back stronger 🇺🇸.” Soon after the post was made, Boulter expressed her love for her doubles partner.
Responding to the post, the British tennis player wrote, “never laughed so much in my life”. This highlighted the humorous side of Kalinskaya and signifies that despite the grueling tennis campaign, she was able to maintain calm for not just herself, but her partner as well. This is not the first time that the two have shared their love and admiration for each other. On March 2nd and 3rd, tennis couple Alex De Minaur and Boulter won two titles together in Acapulco and San Diego, respectively. Kalinskaya was quick to hype them up and wrote, “Couple Goals.”
When the couple recreated the moment and won the Nottingham Open title on the same day, Kalinskaya once again took to her Instagram and wrote, “This makes me happy for both of you guys. congrats and see you soon @katiecboulter @alexdeminaur.” Coming back to the US Open, Kalinskaya has a lot more to cheer up and be happy about besides her own campaign.
