Steffi Graf, Serena Williams and Iga Swiatek all feature on the list of the players with the highest win percentage in the history of the WTA Tour.
There are seven women who have won over 82% of the matches they have played — all of whom have been ranked world No 1 and won multiple Grand Slams.
Here, we look at the seven players with the highest match win percentages in women’s singles in the Open Era (with a minimum of 200 wins).
7. Iga Swiatek – 82.2%
Iga Swiatek has won 82.2% (328-71) of the 399 matches she has played in her career to date, having turned professional in 2016. She holds a 79-17 (82%) record from the 96 Grand Slam matches she has contested.
The Pole has won 22 singles titles, including five Grand Slams (four French Opens and one US Open).
6. Monica Seles – 83%
Monica Seles won 82.98% (595-122) of the 717 matches she contested in a career spanning from 1989 to 2003. She amassed a 180-31 (85%) record from her 211 matches at majors.
The Yugoslavian-American claimed 53 WTA titles, including nine Grand Slams (four Australian Opens, three French Opens, two US Opens).
5. Serena Williams – 84.9%
Serena Williams won 84.91% (855-152) of the 1,002 matches she played in her career, which started in 1995 and concluded in 2002. She posted a 368-56 (87%) record from her 424 Grand Slam matches.
The American won 73 singles titles, including 23 majors (seven Wimbledon titles, seven Australian Opens, six US Opens, three French Opens).
4. Martina Navratilova – 86.8%
Martina Navratilova won 86.81% (1,442-219) of the 1,661 matches she played, having turned professional in 1974 and retired in 1994, while she also played a handful of matches between 2002 and 2005 after making a comeback. She compiled a 306-49 (86%) record from her 355 matches at majors.
The Czech-American collected a record 167 WTA singles titles, including 18 Grand Slams (nine Wimbledon titles, four US Opens, three Australian Opens and two French Opens).
3. Steffi Graf – 88.7%
Steffi Graf won 88.69% (902-115) of the 1,017 matches she played in her career, which started in 1982 and ended in 1999. She compiled a 278-32 (90%) record from her 310 matches at Grand Slams.

Chris Evert won 89.96% (1,309-146) of the 1,455 matches she contested during her career, which spanned from 1972 to 1989. She amassed a 299-37 (89%) record from her 336 matches at majors.
The American won 157 WTA singles titles, including 18 Grand Slams (seven French Opens, six US Opens, three Wimbledon titles, two Australian Opens).
1. Margaret Court – 91.4%
Margaret Court won 91.37% (593-56) of the 649 professional matches she played from the start of the Open Era in 1968 to her retirement in 1977.
The Australian claimed 92 singles titles in the Open Era, including 11 of her record 24 Grand Slams (four Australian Opens, three US Opens, three French Opens, one Wimbledon).
